To show how important it is that we reach our goal, I want to share with you how many grants we had to turn down last year, even when our budget was fully funded.
Last year, after dispersing our budgeted funds, we had to then turn down 118 grant requests from our Latin America partner organizations.
Simply put, if we don’t reach our $20,000 goal by March 31, then we’re going to have to turn down even more grant requests this year.
But, if we reach and surpass our goal, we’ll be able to award grants to a record number of projects all seeking to expand free enterprise in Latin America.
