Whatever starts with the Jews never ends with the Jews March 2024 NEWSLETTER Who We Are Our Mission Following the atrocities of October 7th, many American Jews were shocked by the waves of hate and antisemitism unleashed in our society. Instead of empathy for the tragedy the Jewish people have sustained, we were faced with hate, intimidation, and violence. While Jews are being regularly attacked on the streets and have to hide their identity in fear of their safety, some members of our own community, like Jewish filmmaker Jonathan Glazer, use their Jewishness to publicly and wrongfully bash Israel fueling the fire. The standing ovation Glazer received for his disgraceful Oscar speech, while a violent pro-Palestinian demonstration was allowed outside, spoke volumes of the public sentiment towards the safety of Jews in America. In an article we published in 2022, Why the Golden Age for Jews in America is coming to an end, we discussed how antisemitism has morphed into a violent form of anti-Zionism, forcing many Jews to hide their identity and publicly renounce any support of Israel. Even back then, it was becoming clear that the Golden Age for Jews in America, when Jews enjoyed safety and full freedom, is about to end. Recently, an article with the same premise was published in The Atlantic by Franklin Foer: The Golden Age of American Jews is Ending. While the premise of the article is correct, Foer fails to acknowledge that the vast majority of antisemitism today stems from the left. While there is a fringe minority of loud, right-wing, white-supremacist voices who are calling for the death of all Jews, the Islamo-leftists alliance actively supports and empowers the pro-Hamas agenda that aims to eradicate all Jews and the Jewish homeland, from the river to the sea. Foer and other liberal Jews must acknowledge the harsh reality, that the political party they have historically aligned themselves with is loudly and proudly turning against the Jews. In another article from 2023, The Undeniable Link Between Antisemitism and America's Decline, we shed a light on the inscrutable link between the rise of antisemitism and the decline of America's fundamental values as the Islamo-Leftist agenda gains publicity and momentum, through doctrines like Critical Race Theory (CRT) and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI). These radical ideologies incorporate antisemitic rhetoric to strengthen their case against the Jewish people and the state of Israel, while also rejecting the core American values of freedom, equality and justice. If you're interested in partnering with us to fight antisemitism, support the State of Israel, and protect American democracy, we would love to hear from you. Lastly, we invite you to learn about Parents Defending Education (PDE), a national grassroots organization that works to reclaim our K-12 schools from activists promoting harmful agendas on issues like race, gender, and political indoctrination. Register Here Why the Golden Age for Jews in America is Coming to an End This article was originally published in The Jerusalem Post on October 19th, 2022, written by Adam Milstein. "While we undoubtedly face grave challenges as American Jews, we must not give up. Until now, due to lack of information and fear of rejection and persecution, many American Jews have been complicit as anti-Zionism morphs into the new antisemitism. Now is the time to stand up, fight back with all our remaining might and hold antisemites accountable. We must form alliances with groups that share the same Judeo-Christian values of freedom and democracy, inspire today’s Jewish youth to be proud of their people and the Jewish homeland, and bring Israel back to the center of our Jewish life in the diaspora." "The modern rise of antisemitism also known as the New Antisemitism kicked off at the start of the 21st century with the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) Movement. With the Islamo Leftist alliance behind it, BDS, with its agenda to demonize the Jewish people and destroy the State of Israel, quickly moved from the fringes of our society and into the mainstream. Civil society organizations, American universities, and far-left politicians would come to endorse the BDS ideology. Behind BDS, there has always stood a burning hatred of America, its exceptional liberal democratic and capitalist character, and worldwide influence, which is why it has been embraced by the far left and radical Muslims. With American Jews unable to mount an effective defense against BDS due to our small numbers, division, and aversion to conflict, a door was opened for BDS to get incorporated into the Left’s radical ideologies as they have gained popularity over the past twenty years, normalizing antisemitism as an integral part of anti-Americanism." Read More Spotlight Organization Parents Defending Education (PDE) is a national grassroots organization founded in 2021 that works to reclaim our K-12 schools from activists promoting harmful agendas on issues like race, gender, and political indoctrination. These agendas – Critical Race Theory, Ethnic Studies, Social-Emotional Learning, Gender-Affirming Care, and the BDS movement – have accelerated in recent years. PDE works to expose these problems and give concerned citizens the tools to fight back. PDE carries out investigations across the country, publicizes our findings, drives media coverage, pursues litigation, and helps local parent groups get organized so that they can make a difference in their communities. In the wake of 10/7, the PDE team has focused on the rampant antisemitism in K-12 schools – because sadly, the Jew-hatred currently manifesting on college campuses has been taught to students over the course of many years. PDE has filed public records requests in over 50 districts across the country, run a media campaign in NYC about third grade teachers who forced students to sing ‘The Wheels on the Tank’ about Gaza, organized coalition letters to the Department of Education, and hosted a Congressional fly-in to encourage members to investigate how antisemitism is being taught by activists while education officials from coast to coast turn a blind eye. PDE is deeply grateful for the support of the Adam and Gila Milstein Family Foundation and its help in bringing PDE to a West Coast audience.
