It was a strong night for the President, a powerful night for the Democratic agenda, and a night when Alabama took center stage in a lot of ways….and we're still feeling the momentum from that day.

On the Anniversary of Bloody Sunday, with Bettie Mae Fikes — the “voice of Selma” — along with several foot soldiers in attendance, Joe made clear we will no longer stand for Republicans undermining freedom, democracy, and the rule of law. This election year, we are going to fight back against:

Voter
Suppression,
*
Election
Subversion,
*
Extreme
Gerrymandering,
and
*
Dangerous
Republican
obstruction.

Joe also addressed head-on the ongoing Republican attack on reproductive rights unleashed by the overturning of Roe v. Wade. Sitting right next to the first lady was Latorya Beasley — a social worker from Birmingham whose family’s dream of having a second child was put on hold with the recent Alabama Supreme Court decision to give embryos personhood, threatening IVF treatments across our state.

He made it clear we must get back to the job of delivering for the American people — and that means focusing on: *

reproductive
rights

personal
healthcare
decisions,

Building

economy
and
infrastructure,

Addressing
immigration,
and

Solving
climate
change
for
the
next
generation.
