Members of the school board,



While KUSD is experiencing a budget deficit, a few in the community have recommended that we pass an operational referendum as a way of balancing our budget.??This is not a good idea and is contrary to the will of the people of Kenosha.



It is unreasonable for you to expect taxpayers to pay even more money for educating fewer students each year.??This comes at a time when inflation is already stretching family budgets to the breaking point.??The solution is to cut the wasteful spending that still exists in the district.??The funding you receive is more than enough to educate the children of the community as long as you are smart in how you spend it.



A referendum is the lazy solution and must not even be proposed by the district.??Kenoshans say NO to more taxes.
