The educator version of the app operates the same as the desktop website version, while the student version of the app only shares courses they're subscribed to or you provide access to. Students will also always have assignments available with the website's offline mode.

Register for Utah Valley University's Master Of Arts Program
Do you want to grow your social studies education and have the opportunity to study abroad? The deadline to

apply for Utah Valley University's Master of Arts program in Constitutional Government, Civics & Law is Monday, April 1.


The program is offered through UVU&rsquo;s School of Education, in partnership with its Center for Constitutional Studies and the University of Oxford in England. Classes begin on June 24, 2024, with two weeks of in-person, on-campus courses at UVU in Orem, Utah.



Instruction then moves online for the next 12 months before finishing at Oxford for the final two weeks of in-person classes in the summer of 2025. The fees for the Oxford classes are almost entirely subsidized for attendees.

Deadline Approaching For MyImpact Challenge Submissions Do you have students who registered for the Bill of Rights Institute&rsquo;s

MyImpact Challenge? If so, the deadline for students to submit their entry is coming soon!

MyImpact Challenge submissions must be submitted and received by 11:59 p.m. PT on Sunday, May 19. Students are eligible to receive prizes of up to $10,000, with a total of $40,000 in prizes available for students and teachers.

Have Your Students Think The Vote! Our latest

Think The Vote question looks at the topic of a "wealth tax." For many years, advocates pressed for a tax increase on high-income earners. They argue that doing so will ensure wealthy Americans pay their &ldquo;fair share&rdquo; in taxes.


However, critics argue a wealth tax creates a greater tax burden on Americans who already pay for a large share of our country&rsquo;s taxes. They also claim it would stifle economic growth.


So should the United States create a wealth tax? Students can submit their responses to this

Meet Bridget Kaiser-Munday!
Since Bridget Kaiser-Munday and her students enjoy participating in the Bill of Rights Institute&rsquo;s

Think The Vote debate platform , it&rsquo;s no surprise that Kaiser-Munday put attending the State of the Union address on her bucket list.

&ldquo;I love watching [students] come up with their own theories and thoughts and be able to express them,&rdquo; Munday said of Think The Vote. &ldquo;The world is telling us what we should believe, and I think it is so refreshing to watch them come up with their own thoughts and ideas.&rdquo;

Since 1999,

the Bill of Rights Institute has developed curricula and resources to provide high school students with a top-notch civics education. Now, as BRI prepares to commemorate our 25th anniversary this year, we are expanding our reach and planning to launch a new curriculum for students in grades 3-5!

This curriculum offers primary source-based, inquiry-driven lessons and focuses on literacy instruction, driven by content, and performance-based assessments. It covers topics like the Colonial Era, American Revolution, the development of the U.S. Constitution, the Civil War, and Reconstruction.



We conducted some pilot tests of the new curriculum and the early feedback is positive! A Florida teacher said her students &ldquo;loved it&rdquo; and were able to connect lessons they learned from the new curriculum to current events.
