WATCH VIDEO Professional Learning for Educators The 19th Amendment Featuring Paula Monopoli Wednesday, March 20 | 6:30–8 p.m. ET Explore the ratification process of the 19th Amendment, which grew out of decades of advocacy by the suffragists and their allies, and its connections to federalism, as we discuss the beginning of women’s suffrage out West in the late 1800s and its eventual spread to the rest of the nation. We’ll also learn about the hard work of the people involved in the Civil Rights Movement years after ratification to extend voting rights to all women, including women of color.
