Friend — In just a few hours, we'll close the books on our first FEC deadline of 2020. And while I’m so grateful for those of you who have stepped up and donated, I wanted to make sure each of you had a chance to chip in to our goal before we run out of time — this is truly the last email we’re going to send before this crucial deadline.

This is an important moment for our campaign. If we don’t kick this election year off with the strongest numbers possible, right-wing big-money donors and special interests will think this seat is up for grabs.

National Republicans desperately want to unseat me because they know that if I win re-election, there's almost no chance Trump will win New Hampshire.

So I mean it when I say that a donation from you today could put us over the top on our end-of-quarter fundraising goal of $10,000. If you are able, will you send a donation to keep me on track for re-election?

This is my first public fundraising deadline of this all-important election year, and I can’t afford to fall short. The numbers we report at the end of this quarter — and the number of individuals who give — will say a lot about the strength of our grassroots movement.
