With 11 governors’ races up this year, the DGA has a lot going on right now so I’ll keep this brief. I wanted to pull back the curtain and give you a look at what strategies we’re building across the map – including in two key battlegrounds, North Carolina and New Hampshire:
We’re using cutting-edge digital technology to inform and persuade voters online.
We’re hiring communications experts in the states to hold the GOP accountable and shape race narratives.
We’re message-testing television ads that reach millions of voters.
We’re using advanced data analytics for pinpoint voter targeting.
We’re developing partnerships to recruit, train, and activate thousands of volunteers and campaign staff.
We’re advocating for voter protection tactics to ensure safe, fair elections.
And so much more!
Our governors are crucial to protecting our rights in the states and furthering the Democratic policy agenda. The work we do to help get these candidates elected will have effects up and down the ballot – including supporting President Biden’s reelection efforts. Across the country, our candidates are running in tough races against extremist opponents, but polls are neck-and-neck.
This work is important, team, and it relies on input from top supporters like you – people who are consistently up to date with Democratic strategy, breaking news, and the latest policy issues. Voices like yours are crucial to our 2024 planning.
