Duty, Honor, Country.



The iconic slogan has been woven into the fabric of West Point for more than a
century

. First adopted in 1898 as part of the academy’s seal, the phrase was also
added to the mission statement in1998

But last week, the superintendent of West Point announced plans to drop the
motto from theirmission statement

, replacing it with β€œthe Army Values.” They say it’s all an effort to better
align with the Army as a whole, but if you ask us, it sure seems like a case of
smoke and mirrors asmilitary higher-ups

continue to dilute the foundation of our armed forces.



From diving into seminars

on β€œtransgender visibility” to obsessing overdiversity quotas
<[link removed]>
, it’s like DOD officials walked straight into the woke mob’s trap and decided
to stay awhile.



At a time when our adversaries

are circling like vultures and military recruitment
<[link removed]>
is dismal, we shouldn’t be focusing on the petty demands of woke whiners. Do

If you ask us, this growing trend isn’t just dumb; it’s downright
dangerousβ€”and it has the potential to seep deeper into the culture of our
military.



Our military leaders should be making the case for American greatness and
exceptionalism, not bowing to the Left’s attempt to stomp all over values and
tradition.



The path we’re on leads to ruin, and if we can’t reverse course, we’re in
trouble.
