* New Jersey Attorney General Matthew Platkin (D) said ([link removed]) the state's controversial “party column design” on county primary ballots is unconstitutional and won't defend it in court. A lawsuit alleges the design gives certain candidates an unfair advantage.

* Washington State will have new legislative districts that fairly represent Latino voters and will change its voting rules to make it easier for new residents to register to vote as a result of two court orders issued ([link removed]) last week.
* A right-wing legal group led by Cleta Mitchell filed ([link removed]) a lawsuit seeking access to voter rolls in South Carolina ahead of the 2024 election. The state denied the group's request, saying out-of-state organizations cannot purchase voter lists.
+ In Nevada, the Republican National Committee filed ([link removed]) a lawsuit to purge Nevada's voter rolls. This is the second case seeking to purge voters filed this year by national Republicans and the tenth active lawsuit from anti-voting groups targeting voter rolls overall.
* A lawsuit challenging Virginia's lifetime ban on voting for anyone convicted of a felony will move forward, a federal judge ruled ([link removed]) . The plaintiffs are arguing that the law violates the Virginia Readmission Act of 1870.
* Donald Trump and other co-defendants in the Georgia election subversion case asked ([link removed]) the judge for permission to appeal the ruling allowing Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis to remain on the case.

Here’s what to expect tomorrow.
* It’s an opinion day for the U.S. Supreme Court. The nation’s highest court still needs to issue a ruling on South Carolina's ([link removed]) congressional map, which a lower court struck down for racial gerrymandering.
* Tuesday is also the deadline for Trump to file his merits brief in his presidential immunity claims appeal to the Supreme Court. The Court is scheduled ([link removed]) to hear oral argument in the case on April 25.
