Did you see Donald Trump’s bone-chilling speech this weekend? It’s horrible. And we need to stand up against his hateful, divisive rhetoric.
First, after defending the January 6 insurrection, Trump promised a “blood bath” if he lost the election again.
Then, he spouted full-on racist anti-immigrant lies, saying asylum seekers “are not people, in my opinion” and referred to them as “animals.”
We can’t be silent when Donald Trump is spouting this vile, dangerous rhetoric. We must protect our democracy.
This fight is personal for Pramila. As an immigrant herself and a life-long immigrants' rights organizer, Pramila will always stand up and reject these xenophobic attacks. And as one of the members of Congress on the House floor on January 6, she will always—always—resist political violence.
