This is Sydney Nelson, the campaign's Communications Director and a
resident of Illinois' 11th Congressional District.
When I joined the campaign last year, my decision was largely due to my
disappointment in Bill Foster's climate action policies. I've grown up
listening to politicians' empty promises about overcoming the Climate
Crisis, and I was shocked to see that Bill Foster, a Democrat and
scientist, doesn't even pretend to care about the climate....[ [link removed] ]he openly
supports fracking.

Bill Foster may not have to suffer the consequences of his disastrous
climate policies but I, and the children I hope to have someday,
absolutely will. We do not have time for incrementalism. We need to take
action now.
