Launch-AIES [ [link removed] ]
We have officially launched our newest survey, the Annual Integrated Economic Survey (AIES)!
The new survey integrates and replaces seven annual business surveys into a single streamlined survey. The AIES will provide key measures of economic activity, including the only comprehensive national and subnational data on business revenues, expenses, and assets on an annual basis.

?? Coming This Week: Household Pulse Survey
The Household Pulse Survey will be released this Thursday, March 21. HPS is an effort by the Census Bureau and other federal statistical agencies to measure how emergent issues are impacting U.S. households from a social and economic perspective.
Phase 4.0 topics include employment status, spending, food security, housing, health, mental health, natural disasters, inflation and spending, vaccine receipt, COVID-19 diagnosis and treatment, shortage of critical products, disability, income, social connection and child care arrangements.

USCB_COIL_StatVentures_Geo_AppsOpen [ [link removed] ]
Applications are now open to participate in Phase 1 of the StatVentures Address Geolocation Challenge.
During Phase 1, submit a concept note proposing new ways to produce more complete, accurate, timely, and granular data on the locations of residential addresses in the U.S. A total of $100,000 will be awarded across 10 prizes.

Pop-Estimates-2024 [ [link removed] ]
More U.S. counties experienced population gains than losses in 2023, as counties in the South saw faster growth and more Northeast and Midwest counties had population losses turn to gains, according to new population estimates released last week.
Approximately 60% of U.S. counties gained population from 2022 to 2023, an increase from the 52% of counties that experienced population growth between 2021 and 2022.
