We are already halfway through March! Our team has been hard at work these past few months, supporting our state partners in difficult legislative sessions, launching new programs, and expanding our own capacity.

We’ve been up to a lot around here. Wondering what’s been going on?

We’ve given $222,192 (so far) to our state partners to help them with emergency legislative session needs, paid call programs, and wellness & healing justice for their teams and communities.
We launched our Vanguard HIV Policy Change-Makers Fellowship! Our fantastic Public Health Policy Strategist, Michael Elizabeth, created this program to equip future public health champions and leaders with the tools and connections to revolutionize HIV policy in their state. Michael Elizabeth was also asked to be on the Steering Committee of the U.S. PLHIV Caucus! We are so excited about their incredible work to advance HIV policy changes nationwide.

Our state partners form the largest national network advocating for LGBTQ+ equality and liberation. Equality Federation supports this network, ensuring that advocates pool resources, learn from each other, and develop best practices to accelerate our collective advocacy.
