Growing up, I saw my parents struggle to make ends meet.

I worked my way through college and earned my degree with the help of student loans and financial aid – but I never forgot where I came from or my family’s struggles to get me there.

I first ran for Congress because I saw that Americans were struggling, and working families like mine needed someone to have their backs.

So when I see the challenges ahead, I’m ready to roll up my sleeves and get to work. But I need the support of grassroots Democrats like you every step of the way.
