Hey team, it's Gabby Giffords.
I'm here to talk about my friend Chris Pappas. But before I do, let me share a snippet of my journey.
Thirteen years ago I survived a mass shooting in my hometown. It was a regular Saturday in Tucson until tragedy struck. Six of my constituents were killed, 12 were injured, and I was shot in the head.
Since then I have dedicated my life to fighting gun violence nationwide. There are real solutions to our gun violence crisis, and we can save lives if we elect the right leaders. That's why I'm proud to endorse my friend, Representative Chris Pappas.
Chris has shown he has the courage to act to end gun violence, and the people of New Hampshire deserve a legislator like him who will always put their safety above all else. Will you chip in $5 or whatever you can to support Chris's reelection campaign?
Chris knows keeping our loved ones safe from gun violence is a top priority. He has been a strong leader in the fight to end gun violence and stands for common-sense measures like universal background checks and safe storage. He is adamant about keeping guns out of the hands of people convicted of domestic abuse, and he understands we can't sit idly by while lives are lost to gun violence.
Look: If we're serious about taking on Republicans who prioritize NRA cash over our safety, we can't afford to lose leaders like Chris. But defending Chris's seat and taking back our Democratic majority won't be a walk in the park. Special interests have already named him a prime target, which means he's counting on folks like you to help him build a winning campaign. That's why I'm asking:
Will you chip in $5 or whatever you can to ensure Chris has what he needs to keep NH-01 blue and help take back our Democratic House majority this November?
