Big oil giants, like Darren Woods from Exxon Mobil who gaslit the public last week for the climate crisis1, are invited to speak. All while climate activists were denied entry.
This is Big Oil’s backdoor access to influence politicians and delay a much-needed renewable energy transition, and they think they can get away from public backlash. John, can you send a message to the Secretary of Energy and ask her to withdraw from participating in CERAWeek?
The fossil fuel industry is the reason why February 2024 was the 9th hottest consecutive month on record2. While communities across the states are suffering from climate impacts, our Secretary of Energy is spending a week with fossil fuel executives – billionaires who profited off the climate crisis.
