Wrecking the immigration system has always depended on lies. Lies like “one-time amnesty”, “thoroughly vetted refugees”, “address the root causes of migration” and, of course, “jobs Americans won’t do.”
Generations of Americans (not to mention Europeans) were assured that the invading hordes were just there to do the scut work, the jobs that the natives won’t do. Business groups treated us to a litany of complaints that their members just couldn’t find Americans to fill those jobs. And without an endless flood of migrants, the entire economy will collapse. |

A PAC that recently announced an ad campaign spotlighting Republicans opposed to former President Donald Trump received the majority of its funding from Democratic donors in 2023, according to Federal Election Commission (FEC) records.
Republican Accountability PAC, an anti-Trump political committee, received nearly 75% of its donations from just six major Democratic donors, FEC records show. Sarah Longwell, executive director of Republican Accountability PAC, recently announced that “Republican Voters Against Trump,” a campaign run by the PAC, would be spending $50 million across six swing states to build an “anti-Trump coalition,” The Hill reported. |

Scherr, 59, joined Hertz two years ago as the company was emerging from bankruptcy and putting a big focus on EVs during that time. Prior to that, he spent nearly 30 years at Goldman Sachs. According to Quartz, Hertz soon discovered that EVs are more expensive to maintain than they had initially thought.
And Scherr stated to investors that EVs turned out to be more of an “operational distraction.” |

U.S. border officials captured a Lebanese national on the southern border more than a week ago who told agents he was a member of the Hezbollah terrorist group planning to make a bomb in the United States.
The New York Post reported that U.S. Border Patrol agents arrested 22-year-old Basel Bassel Ebbadi on March 9 near El Paso, Texas.
An internal Border Patrol document obtained by The Post designated Ebbadi’s apprehension as a “Significant Arrest.” |
