Parkinson Canada
March Webinar - WebSocial

Dear John,
There's an old saying, "An apple a day keeps the doctor
away." If only it were that simple in real life! It's a
well-known fact that for some people with Parkinson's,
consuming protein around the same time as taking PD medications can
interfere with the body's absorption of levodopa...but what
else is there to know? Is there a "Parkinson's
diet"? Are there foods to avoid? Are there certain foods or
supplements that can help increase brain power and energy levels
- or even help manage symptoms?
Join our webinar on Wednesday, March 20 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm Eastern
Time as Dr. Erin Presant answers these questions and much more.
Dr. Presant will also inspire viewers to make some simple and fun
nutritional changes with an engaging food preparation/cooking demo.
She will be making a "Buddha Bowl"- type recipe and talk
about all the ways to change this up, different ingredients to use
and ways to make it super simple for lunches and dinners...even
snacks and breakfasts too!
If you have questions you would like to ask Dr. Presant, please
submit them while registering to attend the webinar, and she will
answer as many as possible throughout the event.
