PPADMV Supporter,
On March 28th, join Planned Parenthood Advocates for DC, Maryland & NoVa (PPADMV) and the PPADMV DC Advocates Council for Wine Down for Women’s History Month, a virtual moderated panel focused on the intersection between disability rights and reproductive rights, domestic violence, and human rights.
In this hour-long virtual panel and happy hour, we will discuss the barriers that people with disabilities face to full inclusion in advocacy movements for sexual and reproductive freedom, and why we must proactively include Disability Rights perspectives, as well as race and gender considerations, in order to build successful advocacy movements.
Bring your friends, wine, cheese, and activism for this one-of-a-kind celebration of our power to advocate for sexual and reproductive freedom in a way that is fully inclusive of the Disability Rights community and ALL vulnerable groups.
