Friend,

If you know me, you know I've built a strong reputation as a champion for criminal justice reform and for issues affecting our working families. And as we get closer to important elections in IL, I wanted to make sure I put the spotlight on folks who care about these issues as much as I do.

That's why I'm reaching out to show my support for Clayton Harris for Cook County State's Attorney!

A passionate individual with unique experience, I'm confident Clayton will lead us toward a fairer and safer Cook County.

But Clayton's race isn't the only thing I wanted to talk about today. Friend, my team and I are encouraging folks across the district like you to vote YES on Ballot Question 1 to Bring Chicago Home.

It's a no-brainer – a yes vote on Ballot Question 1 is a vote for:

✅Building new, affordable homes for thousands of families.
✅Making corporate landlords pay their fair share.
✅Funding lifesaving services and rental assistance for 68,000 homeless Chicagoans, including over 17,000 CPS students.

Ready to vote yes? Make sure to get all the way to the END of your ballot (after the committeepeople and judicial elections!) to vote YES on the first public question.

Friend, a better future for our state starts when the people go out and make their voices heard. With your help, we can continue to make Illinois a place we can all be proud to call home.

Thank you,
Sen. Robert Peters
