Please Join us in Praying for Our Nation

Today, 31st March 2020, marks a dark and unprecedented day for pro-life Northern Ireland. Against the democratic will of the people, and against the recent public consultation (79% of respondents rejected the introduction of ANY abortion), one of the most extreme and cruel abortion laws worldwide is set to come into force TODAY.

Last week, in the midst of a global pandemic, the UK Government confirmed it was proceeding with imposing an abortion law which will make abortion legal on-demand up to 24 weeks (6 months) and up to BIRTH for babies with disabilities such as Down's Syndrome, Spina Bifida and Cleft Lip.

Faced with this horrific new reality, we are calling for a National Day of Prayer to take place today. At a time when the world has come together to fight a global health crisis, united in a shared understanding that all human life is precious, please don't forget to pray for the most vulnerable and defenceless of all right now in Northern Ireland.

Second Chronicles 7:14 contains an awesome promise:

“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

In this hallmark passage, God calls a nation to pray.

Please pray that our leaders come to a Biblical view of life, and that, inspired by an understanding of the sanctity of all human life, will work to turn the tide and urgently repeal this barbaric and inhumane legislation which so violently violates God's precious gift of life.

Please pray for all the mothers in unplanned pregnancies we are working with at the moment, and for all mothers considering abortion - that they may be inspired and strengthened to choose life. Please also pray for the rescue of all unborn children endangered by abortion through this ferocious new law, and for the restoration of our pro-life laws.
