Friend of Trust for Public Land,

We have exciting news: the White House is considering expanding San
Gabriel Mountains National Monument in California!

Now, we need to show widespread support for the expansion to ensure
it's not pushed aside. Take action now and urge President Biden
to expand San Gabriel Mountains National Monument today.

Towering high above the Los Angeles Basin, San Gabriel Mountains
National Monument has it all:

*  More than 600 archeological sites
*  Countless recreational opportunities, from
picnicking and swimming to biking
*  Critical habitat for threatened and endangered
species such as the California condor and Nelson's bighorn
sheep

The rivers of the San Gabriel Mountains are also critical for Los
Angeles residents-providing about 30 percent of their drinking
water. We must permanently protect these life-giving waters and the
surrounding landscape.

We can't lose this chance to increase access to the outdoors and
protect drinking water. Call on President Biden to use his authority
to expand San Gabriel Mountains National Monument by 109,000 acres
today!

Adding 109,000 acres to the monument via the Antiquities Act will also
increase equitable access to the outdoors for over 15 million people
who live within a 90-mile radius of the expansion. Many low-income
communities in the area have little access to green space in their
neighborhoods, which is why it's all the more critical that we
work to protect these lands permanently.

Please help secure these important public lands-send a letter to
President Biden now.

Thank you for taking action to expand this vital landscape.
