It’s hard to fathom, but there are people who actively undermine efforts to save our climate so they can
make more money for themselves—the planet be damned.
Like the people at Exxon, who learned about climate change 50 years ago and immediately went to work
spreading disinformation about the crisis to protect their profits.
This is a crime against humanity—and Exxon is now on trial for its climate lies. But the trial would not be
happening without the hard work of Inside Climate News, which in 2015 broke the story of Exxon’s
malevolent deception.
ICN is the leading voice of independent climate journalism. The information it provides is vital in the fight
to stop global heating and save our planet. It is nonprofit, nonpartisan and makes all its reporting
