Fighting the Chinese Communist Party 

This week, this House passed H.R.7521, the Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act in bipartisan fashion. This legislation will force TikTok to divest from CCP-controlled ByteDance.

TikTok is a serious threat to our national security. I am proud to support this legislation to combat the malign influence of the Chinese Communist Party and protect Americans’ data.

Demanding Transparency from Secretary Becerra 

Recently, I joined my North Carolina Republican colleagues in demanding answers from Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra on the Greensboro facility being utilized to house illegal immigrants.

In addition to the dangers Americans are facing, the failure of the Biden Administration to secure our border has created a humanitarian crisis and North Carolina is feeling the impact. Taxpayers deserve transparency on this facility in their backyard.
