John,

John 17 contains Jesus' High Priestly Prayer from the Garden of Gethsemane. Jesus knew the agony He was about to experience on the cross, yet He took the time to pray not only for the 12 disciples but also for future Christians:

"The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me." John 17:22–23

Since Jesus prayed for us just before His darkest hour, we should pray for other Christians. We must never underestimate the power of intercessory prayer.

The power of prayer is exactly why we created this quarter's 2024 ACLJ Prayer Guide. Inside, you will find devotions for spiritual encouragement and ways you can pray for our mission. More than 140,000 ACLJ members are interceding for us. Will you join them?

This is one of your last opportunities to get this limited-time prayer guide. Get your copy today. And please intercede for us as we work to help Christians all over the world.
