Dear John,
Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Last year, my kids put some $$ in their room, had my husband set up a trail cam, and anxiously waited to see if a leprechaun would appear. Here’s what we captured:
It was all very exciting. (They weren’t as successful in phase two of their campaign, which was actually capturing it.)
It’s not lost on me that with these fundraising emails, I’m the leprechaun chasing down some “gold” to fuel this campaign! Ha! (Our EOQ deadline is only a few weeks away!)

But besides leprechauns, for me, St. Patrick's Day is also a reminder that America is strongest when we embrace what makes us different — and celebrate those differences.
Early St. Patrick's Days were a time for community — where Irish immigrants and their descendants could celebrate their heritage and be proud of their ancestry. Today, almost everyone is Irish on March 17. 😉
Each of us brings a unique perspective on what it means to be American, and that great melting pot is richer when we remember that we aren’t great despite our differences, but, rather, because of them.
So, today and every day, let's raise a pint and appreciate our neighbors.
Tuebor and sláinte,
Callie
