** Global Days of Action on Tax Justice for Women’s Rights 2024

The 8th edition of the Global Days of Action on Tax Justice for Women's Rights launches tomorrow, Monday, March 18th with a webinar taking place from 2-3 PM CET.

This year’s campaign will extend through to March 22^nd, 2024, with demands that governments around the world “Tax Fairly for Gender-Transformative Care”.

We are looking forward to seeing you at the launch event!

To kick-off the campaign, representatives from GATJ and its regional networks will share the campaign plans and discuss the topic #TaxFairly4Care based on their varied experiences of advocacy and regional mobilisation.

The event will be broadcasted live on GATJ’s YouTube page ([link removed]) and live tweeted ([link removed]) .

🗣️🌐 Interpretation into Spanish and French will be available.

** 18 to 22 March: A week full of action

After the launch, the campaign will continue until 22 March with a wealth of activities including webinars and social media actions.

** Framing Feminist Taxation for Financing for Care - Emerging Insights from the Global South
------------------------------------------------------------
Date: Wednesday, 20th March 2024
Time: 11am-12:30pm CET
Join this session organised by members of the Tax and Gender Working Group for an insightful discussion on the pivotal role of tax systems in financing a fairer and more equitable social organisation of care.

The session will feature presentations of case studies from Africa, Asia and Latin America that will integrate the third volume of the forthcoming Framing Feminist Taxation Guide.
