PETITION TO THE GOP: STOP THE B.S. BIDEN IMPEACHMENT
The GOP opened an impeachment inquiry into President Biden based on what they thought to be evidence from a "highly credible source." To the surprise of absolutely no one, said "source," Alexander Smirnov, has now been charged with lying and falsifying claims against the president and his son, Hunter. [[link removed]]
Smirnov made false statements to the FBI, alleging that a Ukrainian energy company had paid Biden and his son millions of dollars. These statements — which the GOP used as the basis for their inquiry — have been debunked & the so-called informant is in jail awaiting trial.
The truth is, this was never a serious investigation. Extremist Republicans latched on to false evidence in hopes of pushing their MAGA agenda and appeasing Donald Trump. They've shown their hand: they're hoping to distract voters during a crucial election season.
The American people are sick of these games! Our lawmakers were elected serve us, not push their own extremist agendas and line their pockets. House Republicans: it's time to stop your baseless impeachment against President Biden and focus on doing your jobs.
