- Washington Republicans like Mitch McConnell have taken notice. His super PAC is dumping $22 million in North Carolina to sink Cal.
What’s clear is this: These are challenging and uncertain times that demonstrate the need for strong leadership in Washington — a leader like Cal. We know Cal can win this race. But Trump, McConnell, and Republicans in Washington are going to throw everything they have at us to try to hold on to this seat.
