I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Donald Trump is the former White Supremacist-in-Chief.
Why? Because this is the same man who led a deadly, white supremacist attack against our democracy on January 6th.
The same man who used racist rhetoric when he referred to COVID-19 as the “Chinese virus” and “kung flu.”
The same man who defended white nationalists taking to the streets with tiki torches in Charlottesville, Virginia.
The list of Trump’s racist remarks is already more than a mile long and keeps getting longer every time he speaks. Now, Republicans are working around the clock to make sure he’s re-elected in November while his right-wing billionaire donors meddle in Democratic primaries like mine.
Make no mistake: white supremacy is the single greatest threat to our freedoms and democracy and Donald Trump is the face of that movement. If we fail to reject Trump in November, the foundation of our democracy will be at risk, and communities like Missouri’s 1st Congressional District will be the ones to suffer the most.
