What a fantastic Conference it's been!

The energy, the ideas, the passion - it’s been so exciting to see our shared commitment to the liberal future we’ll be fighting for in the upcoming General Election.

But before we head home, I want to take a moment to talk about something crucial.

The upcoming election is the best opportunity for our party in years.

But it’s also the greatest threat to our country.

The Conservatives are desperate to cling on to power.

And they have the deepest pockets. It’s a dangerous combination.

The liberal values our party nurtures are needed now more than ever.

But the liberal future we’re all fighting for is only possible if we work together to deliver the best campaigns we can and elect more Liberal Democrat MPs and Councillors.

Every door knocked, every conversation on the doorstep, every leaflet delivered, brings us closer to our goal.

But to achieve that, we need to fund our campaigns.

Momentum is building, and it's evident that our strategy is yielding results. But with pockets as deep as Tories and Labour we need to be able to do more.

This is going to be the most expensive election yet.

We need to seize this opportunity to reshape the future of our country for generations to come.
