I want to make sure we're running an organization that makes our supporters proud. I believe that our work still plays an incredibly important role during this public health crisis. Our elected officials have been out of step with the American people for far too long and the consequences are now clearer than ever. Unfair elections are at the root of the dysfunction in our political system.
I know we're all still adjusting to the "new normal." Our staff is working from home and we're thinking through how we execute our work to meet the moment. I'm so proud to see how people have stepped up in various ways during this pandemic -- and that includes many people still signing up to get involved with AOTL -- but I understand that the focus for many of us must turn to other urgent and personal matters.
