John,

The Pennsylvania Democratic primary election is just over one month away,
and as expected, right-wing PACs are ramping up their attacks against
progressive incumbent Rep. Summer Lee in Pittsburgh.

This week, “Moderate PAC” launched a new TV ad against Summer, accusing
her of pushing an “extreme socialist agenda” and promoting her opponent.

To this point, Moderate PAC has been solely funded by GOP megadonor and
billionaire Jeff Yass — the BIGGEST donor in the 2024 election cycle who’s
dropped $46.4 million so far.

Yass formed his PAC for this exact reason: to go after progressives like
Summer who fight for bold, progressive change and an end to the status quo
that benefits corporations and the wealthy few like Yass.

Time is running out for us to build the resources needed to defend
Summer’s seat and keep her fighting for the working people of Pittsburgh
in Congress.

fuel Summer’s campaign and Justice Democrats’ work to re-elect her this
year?

Let’s come together to keep this Republican billionaire’s handpicked
candidate out of Congress and send Summer back to Washington to keep
fighting the good fight.

In solidarity,

Geoff Simpson
Campaigns Director
