Dear ,

Foregen President Vincenzo Aiello recently visited the animal research facilities of the University of Camerino to document Dr. Angela Palumbo and her team at work on the sheep. In our most recent video update, we provide a behind-the-scenes look at the operational side of these experiments. This footage highlights the methodologies employed by the research team. Check out the YouTube video below 👇
Key processes documented include the retrieval of the tissue samples from storage, preparation protocols for the surgical procedure on the sheep (which includes shaving, disinfecting, and the administration of anesthesia), and the actual surgical process conducted by Dr. Palumbo with assistance from Luca Penasilico, a PhD candidate at the University.

The primary research focus is to examine the samples for vascularization and cell migration, 15 days post-operation. With this phase of our research, we aim to obtain valuable data to inform our final surgical approach on humans. Stay tuned for our upcoming follow-up video, which will reveal the results of the ECM attachment!

We extend our sincere gratitude to our donors, who make this research a reality through their exceptional generosity. This second round of sheep trials was funded by our recent and successful GoFundMe campaign! You too can help support Foregen's mission today by contributing to our project. Every dollar you give enables us to acquire the necessary materials, staff, and laboratory space to advance our goal of developing the world's first regenerative medicine solution for circumcised men.

Sincerely,

Ryan Jones
