Africa & Europe
Praise God with us for the favorable relationships that we have had with government agencies in Kenya. Our work together with the prosecutor’s office, the police service, oversight authorities and witness protection has been fruitful for the successful implementation of our shared goals to end police abuse of power in Kenya. Pray for continued goodwill and symbiotic working relationships.
Latin America
Please join us in praying for a 19-year-old girl in Peru who was recently hospitalized. This young woman, from an underserved rural area in the Peruvian mountains, received therapy from IJM partner Paz y Esperanza between the ages of eight and 14 after suffering from sexual abuse by a family friend. Although she had intended to attend a survivor retreat last week in Peru, she fell severely ill and had a negative reaction to medication. Currently, she is in a coma at the hospital, and we earnestly ask for prayers for her quick recovery, as well as for her parents and the medical team overseeing her care.
South Asia
Pray for rest and recovery for investigators who recently returned from an intense assessment trip. These women and men were studying labor trafficking and sexual exploitation in a region where IJM will soon be expanding. Each day for several weeks, they visited worksites, farms, brothels and bars where children, women and men are suffering under violence every day. Pray that our team could document these harsh realities well so we can intervene quickly, and pray for their mental and spiritual health as they process all they have seen.
Asia Pacific
Praise God for the Supreme Court in the Philippines taking a firm stance on the online sexual exploitation of children. In a case supported by IJM, the Supreme Court affirmed a lower court's decision, sentencing a woman in the Philippines to up to 40 years in prison for livestreaming the sexual abuse of her six-year-old niece. May this conviction, and the many others achieved in the past, remind would-be perpetrators that the Philippine criminal justice system does not take lightly this grave offense against precious children.

Gather25 ! One of IJM's faithful partners, the IF:Gathering, is planning a 14-hour prayer event on March 1, 2025. Gather Groups will be hosted all over the world, in many places where IJM works, for a time of prayer and commissioning. We pray for God's favor in the logistics surrounding the event, and for each attendee who plans to join in-person or virtually.
