Dear Constituent,

I am proud to announce that applications for this year’s Congressional Art Competition for Maryland’s 7th Congressional District are now OPEN. The Congressional Art Competition is a way for Members of Congress to encourage, bolster, and highlight the artistic talents of our young constituents in high school.

The Congressional Art Competition is open to all high school students in our Congressional District. Each Member of Congress may select one piece of artwork to be displayed on Capitol Hill through the Competition. The winning artwork from around the country will be displayed in the Cannon Tunnel, between the U.S. Capitol and Cannon House Office Building, for one year. The student will also be honored at the Congressional Art Competition Reception in Washington, D.C.

PLEASE NOTE: All artwork entries must be received by my Congressional Office by April 5, 2024. Students must contact Katelyn Stough, Constituent Services Representative, via email at [email protected], or by phone at (410) 685-9199, to arrange drop-off or pick-up.

The 2024 Competition Rules can be found here. Students must submit the Student Information and Release Form with their artwork, which can be accessed here

I look forward to receiving this year’s artwork from a pool of brilliant young artists in our Congressional District and wish all applicants the best of luck in this year’s competition.

Sincerely,
