| | Hi Patriot, it’s Michelle Steel. I’m excited to announce that I just won my primary on Super Tuesday! Now that I’m OFFICIALLY the Republican nominee in the most competitive House race in America, I wanted to take a moment to tell you my life story and share a few of my favorite pictures with you: To be completely candid with you: it’s a miracle I ever made it to the halls of Congress. Knowing how I got to where I am today, I have to laugh to myself when naysayers try to tell me the American Dream is dead. I’m living proof it’s alive and well – let me explain. | My mother and father fled Communist North Korea in hopes of giving our family a better life. I owe everything to their courage and grit. Despite losing everything to Communism, they never gave up. They kept fighting and taught me everything I know about determination, bravery, and hard work. I will always be grateful for the sacrifices they made for our family. | I moved to the United States as a teenager and put the work ethic my parents taught me to work starting a small business with my family. It was hard – especially for an immigrant still learning English – to build a business from the ground up. I watched my mother struggle with tedious government processes, paperwork, taxes, and regulations. I watched as the government failed our family (and so many others) time and time again. I knew there had to be a better way. So instead of just complaining about it, I did something about it. | So I threw my name on the ballot for the first time. I ran for the California State Board of Equalization and then the Orange County Board of Supervisors. I became the highest-ranking Korean-American elected official in the country. And I even got to meet one of the greatest presidents in American history – Ronald Reagan! I gave almost $400 million back to California taxpayers, and that’s about when the attacks really started ramping up. You see, the Democrats REALLY didn’t like an immigrant woman making headlines like that as a Republican. The more I delivered, the more my name popped up in attack ads… But my family fled Communist North Korea, I wasn’t exactly afraid of a few hateful attack ads. So instead of backing down, I ran for Congress in a Democrat-held seat. | Everyone told me I would lose. I was challenging a well-funded Democrat who knew all the wealthy Liberal donors in Orange County. But against all odds – and despite what the so-called experts said – I won. In 2022, I ran again in what would later be called one of the most competitive races in the country – but I won again and helped take back the House Majority for Republicans. Now that I’m officially the Republican nominee for 2024, I’m kindly asking for your support one last time. Joe Biden won my district by 6.9 POINTS and I don’t think I’ll have the resources to hold this seat without your support. The White House, House Democrats, and far-Left megadonors have all named me a TOP target by reserving tens of millions of dollars to sink my re-election campaign. Biden even came to California to personally raise money against California Republicans like me. I am personally asking for just $10 or $20 now that I’m OFFICIALLY the Republican nominee in this key race. Will you join us? | Thank you for your time and consideration, | Michelle Steel (CA-45) P.S. I know that times are tough for so many Americans. If you can’t afford to give right now, it would mean a lot if you would officially join my team by submitting your endorsement. | Hi, it’s Congresswoman Michelle Steel (CA-45). I am 1 of 18 House Republicans being targeted by Biden’s White House and I have an exclusive memo I need you to see. | | | | | | | Paid for by Michelle Steel for Congress | | PO Box 472 Surfside, CA 90743 | Privacy Policy | | |
