How to Vote for Palestine in AZ’s Presidential Preference Elections on March 19, 2024
Unlike Michigan and many other states, Arizona does not include an “uncommitted” or similar option on Presidential Preference Ballots. If you want your vote counted, you’ll need to fill in a bubble. But we can still send a message.
By voting for candidates that have demanded a ceasefire in Gaza, we can show solidarity with the Palestinian people and denounce Joe Biden’s campaign of genocidal imperialism.
If you are an AZ voter who wants to participate in this year’s Presidential Preference Election, we encourage you to vote for a candidate who supports an immediate ceasefire. Consider this our “uncommitted” vote.
In anticipation of this moment, Phoenix DSA leadership has encouraged Presidential candidates to write a letter explaining their support for Palestine and their willingness to serve as AZ’s “uncommitted” option. Two such candidates responded: Frankie Lozada and Gabriel Cornejo. Their letters to Arizona are included below.
Phoenix DSA does not endorse any candidate for President. Phoenix DSA stands with Palestine, and against the genocidal actions of President Joe Biden.
