Hi John,
We’re not going to defeat Trump and the GOP with empty promises.
We’re going to defeat them with strong, progressive values and a grassroots movement. Can you chip in to help us grow that movement?
My opponent Derek Kilmer calls himself a leader on getting money out of politics, but he’s taken $3 million from corporate PACs.
Corporate Democrats talk about “civility” and think it’s not civil for me to run against a Democrat. I don’t think it’s civil for our society to let people die of coronavirus because they don’t have healthcare. Corporate Democrats fail that civility test.
I can’t stand hypocrisy.
I’ve spent my entire life fighting for progressive values: as a tenants’ rights organizer, a commissioner on the Tacoma Commission on Disabilities, and a court-appointed special advocate for kids in foster care.
I’m running to fight for our progressive values in Congress.
To win without being able to do anything in person, we need a massive phone banking operation, and that’s why I’m reaching out to you today.
We need $1,248.66 by tomorrow to pay for phone banking in the first half of April. Can you chip in now to help us get there?
I used to think candidates’ emails about FEC deadlines were overhyped — arbitrary FEC bookkeeping deadlines that campaigns used to create fake urgency to drum up donations.
But the truth, I realized after running, is that these deadlines do matter. Because after each FEC deadline, the numbers become public data on the FEC website. Then pundits pore over the data and use it to pontificate on how “serious” campaigns are. More money = more news coverage = more attention = more money.
It’s unfortunate, but that’s how it is.
So our FEC deadline tomorrow at midnight really does matter. Yesterday’s, today’s, and tomorrow’s donations need to add up to $1,248.66 for us to make a strong showing and earn enough money to pay for phone banking in the first half of April.
If you can spare a dollar or two right now, donate here before the deadline, because this is urgent:
