There was no famine in the ordinary sense of that
word [during the "Irish Potato Famine."] It was genocide perpetrated
by more than half of Britain's army (67 regiments of its 130 regiments
total). They removed, at gunpoint, Ireland's abundant meats,
livestock, and food crops to the ports for export; thus starving the
people.
