John,
John,
Last week, Governor Mike DeWine extended voting by mail for Ohio’s primary election until April 28th. This is an important move to secure our electoral process while Ohio and the entire country continues to deal with the Coronavirus pandemic.
Below are the details of what this extension will look like:
The Secretary of State will send every eligible elector in the state a postcard notifying the voter of the process to obtain an absentee ballot application.
Absentee ballot applications must be received by April 25th at 12 p.m.
Individuals seeking an absentee ballot can download an electronic copy of the absentee ballot application here. [link removed]
Your absentee ballot must be received by your specific county board of elections by 7:30 p.m. on April 28th or postmarked by April 27th.
If you have any questions on voting by absentee ballot, please reach out to your local board of elections [link removed] or Secretary of State Frank LaRose’s office. [link removed]
Please continue to follow the CDC and Ohio Department of Health’s guidelines as it pertains to Coronavirusmiketurner.com/. Both are attached to my website HERE.miketurner.com/
