Village of Oswego announces lineup for Venue 1012 event series
Season kicks off with Sparks Fly - The Taylor Swift Experience on June 6
Oswego, Ill. - The Village of Oswego is excited to announce the?2024 event series?at its outdoor amphitheater Venue 1012. Located at 1012 Station Drive in Oswego, Venue 1012 will host a combination of 10 ticketed and free events. its outdoor amphitheater Venue 1012. Venue 1012, the Village?s own outdoor arts and entertainment amphitheater, will host its third full summer of family-friendly fun. The season is loaded with opportunities to sing, dance, sip, eat and unwind with family and friends of all ages in Oswego?s own backyard. New this year, guests are invited to bring their own food or enjoy concession food and wide array of beverage sold on site. Outside beverages are prohibited. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to relax while celebrating long summer nights.

The 2024 season features Weekend Concerts,?Free Thursday Night Concerts, and?Movies Under the Stars. Top-notch regional acts will perform on select Saturdays with affordable ticket prices. Free concerts with well-known music through the decades, as well as original hits will be featured on Thursday nights. Movies Under the Stars returns with two free family-friendly movies and activities for the whole family to enjoy.
The Village?s Breast Cancer Benefit Concert?will take place on October 12, raising funds for breast cancer support organizations serving the Oswego community.? Beneficiaries include: The Edward Foundation, The American Cancer Society and Waterford Place.
Tickets are now on sale for four weekend concerts. Tickets for Red Wanting Blue, Sins N? Roses & Electric Shock ? The AC/DC Show, RUMOURS ? The Ultimate Fleetwood Mac Tribute Show, and Billy Elton & Dancing Queen cost $15 for active military and veterans, $20 for advanced tickets and $25 at the door; children 12 and under are free. Save money by purchasing a four-bundle concert pass through June 22 for $65.Wine ticket packages for Billy Elton & Dancing Queen will be available for purchase begin in June.
