Folks —

I returned to Minnesota on Thursday, after working to pass urgently needed help for working families, small businesses, and our health care workers in response to the coronavirus pandemic. I’m proud of the work we did.

And now I’m home, safe and sound, as I hope you are. Archie made homemade bread over the weekend, and I’m adjusting to working for Minnesota from my kitchen table rather than my Senate office in Washington, D.C.

Our campaign has always emphasized making grassroots, person-to-person connections. This is how I learned to campaign from watching Paul Wellstone. And though none of us could have imagined this new reality, the work of lifting up the voices of Minnesotans, and winning this most important of elections, continues.

So, as you are sitting around your own kitchen table, I’m inviting you to join me in doing the grassroots work we need to do, in a new way.

If it makes sense for you financially, I am asking you to make a contribution to our grassroots campaign today. It’s never been more important to elect a government that works for regular folks. My hope is that you will give me the opportunity to continue doing right by you in the Senate.

I appreciate any contribution you are able to make. This is no ordinary time, and I need you to take care of yourself and your loved ones first.

Today, I am feeling especially grateful for this team and for each of you. Thank you so much for your constant support. I really mean it.
