John, it’s been quite a week.
There is some indication that Ukraine aid is moving in the right direction in the House. The job isn’t done — and we trust House GOP leadership about as far as we can throw them — but we’re going to hold their feet to the fire.
We’ve also drawn down our reserves pretty considerably — from our DC fly-in, our week-long ad buy on FOX and Friends, alongside all of our other ongoing programs and actions.
It’s March, too, which means we’re approaching our end-of-quarter FEC deadline.
This deadline at the end of the month is one of the most important of the year. What we raise, how many donations we receive, we’re legally required to publicly report that information after this deadline. Our friends and our foes are going to be watching.
That report will set expectations for the rest of the year. We need them to be good expectations.
