Dear Friends and fellow District 6 neighbors,

There are just 46 days left until the Primary Election on April 30th! Early voting starts on April 12th. With the Special Election just a few weeks later on May 14th!

My campaign is working hard to make calls and knock on doors to inform the public about this important race! This week I am proud to announce that my campaign has received several big endorsements from former District 6 Hennepin County Commissioner Jan Callison, Minnesota Speaker of the House of Representatives Melissa Hortman and Met Council Member for District 8 Anjuli Cameron!

I am also working long hours in service at the Minnesota Capitol! Several of my bills made it through committees to address the influx of mental health demands in our State. Below are a few highlights from this week where I spoke to recovery advocates about critical policy we are to expand services to support community members in their recovery and sobriety. I also hosted my Office's last Intern for a Day Program -- I am proud to report I have successfully partnered to bring over 600 high school youth to the Minnesota Capitol in 6 years to help them learn more about the Minnesota Legislature!

My hope is to start a youth program to bring students from all 16 cities to Hennepin for a non-partisan internship to learn about how County government operates. The more we can teach young leaders about how system work – the better they can lead as adults.

I am proud to report this week I officially to be on the Primary and Special Election ballot!
