Our team is working overtime between now and Tuesday to boost turnout in the first test of our race against a MAGA extremist here in battleground Ohio.
There have been so many encouraging signs that Ohio is on the brink of turning blue (once again) this year:
- Last November, voters rejected a deceptive ballot proposal that would have thwarted majority rule
- Then, a citizen-led initiative to enshrine reproductive rights and codify Roe v. Wade in our state constitution passed with a whopping 57% majority voting in favor
- Now, Trump and his lackeys Troy Balderson and Jim Jordan are more vulnerable than ever as their fabricated impeachment case against Joe Biden has completely fallen apart
What we need to make huge gains throughout Ohio, to defend Senator Sherrod Brown and fight to defeat Trump and his allies here, is the grassroots support to gain new voters and turn out Democrats and pro-democracy voters up and down the ballot.
