The future of American democracy hangs in the balance in this election and North Carolina voters will play a decisive role in determining the outcome.
From races for President and Governor to Attorney General and the General Assembly, the choice is clear — we must elect candidates who will fight for our fundamental rights and protect our democracy.
We've organized, marched, and kept dangerous extremists out of office before — and we can't let up now, especially with the current Republican candidates for Governor and Superintendent of Public Instruction on the ballot in November.
Right-wing attempts to roll back our progress are running rampant in North Carolina and states across the nation, but I'm fighting back. I'm committed to defending democracy by maximizing Democratic voter turnout in Wake County and across North Carolina.
It's going to take each and every single one of us to reject extremism and bigotry and to fight for justice, equality, and progress.
