Our First Statewide People's Assembly!
Good afternoon,
Florida Rising held its first Virtual Statewide People’s Assembly of 2024. Thursday's turnout was truly remarkable, and the energy in the virtual space was electrifying ! We learned from each other, uplifted the influential women in our lives and discussed abortion, early candidate endorsements, 2024 legislative session bills and upcoming priorities. Knowing that we have relentless members, allies, and partners like you in our movement toward amplifying Black and Brown political power fills us with gratitude. Last night, we stood united with over 170 individuals , aligned and unwavering in our commitment to build Black and Brown political power across the sunshine state we all call home. Your presence contributed significantly to the strength and impact of our assembly.
