Recognizing the gravity of this issue, a bipartisan group of lawmakers, led by Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has introduced the DEFIANCE Act (Disrupt Explicit Forged Images and Non-Consensual Edits Act).

This groundbreaking legislation aims to empower victims by providing them with federal civil remedies against the nonconsensual creation of sexually explicit images and videos using AI.

Urge Congress to pass the bipartisan DEFIANCE Act to safeguard the dignity and safety of all individuals against the malicious use of AI.
